Larry Geller

Larry Geller was much more than Elvis Presley's personal hairstylist - he was one of his dearest and most trusted friends.  It was pretty much that way from the moment they met in 1964.  One of LA's premier celebrity hairstylists in the 1960's, Larry clientele read like a Hollywood Who's Who, with such luminaries as Steve McQueen, Peter Sellers, Henry Fonda, Roy Orbison, Sam Cooke, Robert Wagner; the list is endless.

After styling Elvis' hair the first time, instead of rushing off to his next famous client Larry stayed for three hours as he and Elvis talked about everything from show biz to the nature of life.  By the end of the conversation,  Larry was no longer just a hairstylist; he and Elvis had begun a close friendship that lasted until the day he did Elvis' hair for his funeral in 1977.

A spiritual seeker since his teens, vegetarian, and student of natural nutrition and alternative healing, Larry has dedicated his life to serving and assisting others, and to telling the story of the real Elvis Presley. 

Larry is a writer and speaker.  He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Shira.
